Today, we release a simulated version of Lego©'s great NXT robot. It will allow you to become familiar with 3D simulation using the Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio (MSRDS). The "Express" version of the MSRDS is free, you can download it on Microsoft's website

With our package, you will be able to test your code both on the simulated robot and on a real NXT. The package also contains code samples and tutorials to guide the user.

Click here to see the simulated NXT page in our gallery

R2 Version now available (see this post)

Hooray!
Can the simulated NXT use custom-made .rxe's? And are the NXT buttons pushable?

This package uses Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio that only loads .obj and .x file. So you can't load your rxe file (and if you could, you have to recode the whole physical model, and other kind of stuff, there are some discussions on the forum on that)

We doesn't simulated the brick, so you can't get an event for button pushed

I have edited my first post with correct links for both 2008 and 2008 R2 versions ;) .

This post is about R2 version which natively works with VPL
