RoboChamps

Earlier today, Microsoft announced RoboChamps, their new worldwide simulated robotics competition based on Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio (MSRDS) 2008.

This robotics simulation challenge, hosted by Microsoft offers a great opportunity to compete with teams all over the world on robotics software. The first challenge is a maze filled with obstacles and traps, but there’s many more to come… including mars rover, urban environment, and robot rescue. There’s no cost to enter, no software to buy, and you can even win real robots!

We are proud to announce that SimplySim has been a key partner on RoboChamps, creating simulation environments and several simulated robots used in RoboChamps’ challenges.
